Combines f3 lower sieve installation

Just put new bottom sieve in 78 F2 sern 41252. Has no channel- just sits on top of pinch rod.Have a manual for earlier n than mine and it says sieve hooks on rod.Short shoe F's hooked rod with a channel.

Thanks for the response, I installed it on top of the rod, and the holes line up perfect.My book is for an F3 but the sieve has no channel.
