Quite frankly $7500 would be a good price. You really don't know what you are going to run into. You could easily sink $3000-5000 into it. Sitting outside and being canibalized are two strong negatives and the purchase price needs to reflect that. In addition the corn head should be included in the price. If the head needs sheet metal work there has been allot acres through the head and it probably needs flutes (~$600) plus various chains and sprokets. If you are in an area where there is still a demand for that size machine you may have to give more. Here in eastern Iowa it would be a hard sell as there aren't many small farmers that do their own combining. If you can talk to the previous owner and get a feel for how he treated the machine that is a plus. I am not trying to discourage you but I want you have as much information as possible. If you are good with a wrench, enjoy working on machines and can get it for about half of what they are asking I say go for it. The F3 is a great machine, lot's of capacity, very durable and the electric over hydraulics is sweet. Just my opinion for what it is worth, Pete Hinrichsen
