oh geez, if you put a new clutch in and it took 5 seconds to come up to speed, you probably wiped it out within the first 5 minutes of operation. First check the air gap, we set them as close as possible without scrubbing, too wide a gap will cause a problem. Second check out the voltage AT THE MAGNET. One wire is ground the other pos and you must have 12.5V Min immediately after stopping eng. when measured at the magnet. IF not then back up the harness til you find the problem.

Had the same problem on F3 replaced the same things same result.Finally relace the relay under the console,that took care of the problem.
