Combines F3 Stuck Clutch

Hmm, at worst you might give the energizer Bunny a run for the money.....it keeps going and... Seriously, if in fact it is stuck and you can't 'unstick' it, lower the screen and pop open the inspection cover for the clutch and have a look see. Worse coming to worse loosen the bolts holding the pressure plate and reach in with a long screwdriver and pop it loose. Take a good look at the release bearing and make sure it is doing its job.

That happened on an old utility tractor we use around the yard. Somehow moisture got on the clutch disc and it glued itself to the pressure plate. I was unable to free it without removing the entire assembly from the tractor. Oliver tractors sure are easy to work on clutches. Good luck and let us know what you find out. Tom in MN

I had a F that did just what you said.It started grabing just a little at first and kept getting worst. The shaft that the disk splines on was worn and would not let it slide away from the flywheel.I was able to taper the worn area up to the unworn area and greased it real good.It was still working good when I traded for a hydro F2 4 or 5 years later.Hope this helps.
