Combines F3 wheat settings

I am assuming you are cutting wheat, wide space bars are not the best but in an M2 I would run the cylinder above 1150 or 1200, at this speed it is 1_2 the engine speed, took a lot of horsepower. Run as many rasp bars as needed to get the crop from the heads, at least 3 to 4 and I think you can go to 5 in the F. Clearance 5_16 to 3_8 depending how much straw you take in, which at times more straw will separate better but takes more power in the cylinder. Does you concave door have rasp bars that are wornIJ if so replace them. SeiveIJ I always ran so the front of the box was lower than the back. Good luck

With the standard gleaner bars I run 1200RPM, 5 concave bars and 1_4" clearance and adjust as needed. You want the sieve and chaffer higher in the back. If you use the long slot corn chaffer you will have it about shut. The remedy for the concave door(s) is to replace them.

Remove the door, straighten it under a press, then re-enforce it by welding flat bar vertical to the bottom side of the door , along its length, but not over the holes for the concave bars. This is not as good as a new door, since you can never get it perfectly straight, but will work for most coarse seed crops. Good luck, Ben.
