The JD tracks actually work much better than the cat tracks. They have air suspension and a bigger footprint. The cost is the same as the Cat track which is why they are not popular. I have a CTS and tried the tracks but they were early model and had some problems. So I went to logger tires and that works about as well. I have a full-track Claas for when it gets too muddy for the CTS. No half-track combine will go where that claas will.In my opinion the JD track is the best on the market now that they have the bugs worked out.Maybe one of these days we'll have full-track combines from all manufacuers. We need them.
