are your pulleys wornIJ 6 sided belt not tight enoughIJ something is slipping if you ahve it adjusted to max speed my .02

was curious ran ours up to 1270rpm's under load, we usually run fan around 1140 in rice an 1200 in beans, just a thought check engine speed then triple belt tension oh yeh!! check throw-out brg on end of fan shaft thats what ajust the pully that's my guess!!

Yep, CAJUN BOY is right. That bearing is bad. It just looks like a throw-out bearing, it is actually called a thrust bearing.

also replace the bushings in the adjustment braces when disassembling. a little wear goes along way on the the fan speed.

look at your top pulley and see if there is any more room for adjustment. If so tighten sheaves manually. Thats what I did anyway!!!
