Combines fan sprocket

I am not sure if it is similiar to the K2 sprocket, but turn it the other way. I heated that sprocket red hot and could not get it off then the idea occured that maybe it comes off the opposite way of thinking........spun right off! Yours maybe set up same way...not familiar with you model. Good luck!

One thing to remember on shafts that have threaded hubs and sprockets......left side of machine-right hand thread......right hand side-left hand thread. It is a bad - bad thing to heat a fan shaft. good luck vstk

Check the fan spiders and blades after having things that warm,Fan uses loctite.

small sprocket on M2 fan shaft left side is left hand thread try turning with an air punch or weld on a 1" nut and spin off with an impact.

Did you get the sprocket offIJ How did you finally do itIJ I finally cut mine off of an F3 with an air grinder. I was told not to burn it off as others have posted.

We've made tools for the different size sprockets that are spun on. We get matching weld a sprocket from parts and weld nut to it that can be run with large air impact. We simply put tool up to sprocket and wrap a double chain around it. Of course you have to figure the proper direction for removal.
