Thanks for the update! That sounds like a good plan to me. You know you have the governor set "hot" enough if the engine runs a little rough when you start it cold. Ours will "bounce" for a while at low idle, or you can smooth it out by giving it throttle. Personally, I would keep turning the screw in until it starts a little rough, but 3 clicks sounds like a good starting point. 6 clicks would likely be an "extreme" adjustment.
