Combines Farm Progress Show

It has been several years since being at the Progress Show. But I have never seen them with anything but 6 and 8 rows. Never a 12 row. Not sure about the current models but when the R series first came out we demoed one and it was a nice machine but plugged the throat constantly. The throat wasn't any bigger than the F2 we were using currently. I don't think that could even handle a 12 row unless you were crawling.

R-62,65,R-72,75 will handle a 12 row in heavy corn with no problem.

I think it was Agrigold seed corn company that had the combine outside there tent. It was something neat to look at how they split the combine in two. looks like it must work good. Don't think you could do that to any other make of combineIJ
