HIGH as possible, you can run with only a few fingers, but you have to have clearance UNDER the drum to get the slugs through.

If I raise all the way up it would leave about 1 1_2" inches under the fingers---wouldn''t that not take them all in and then add more to the next swept and make slugging easierIJIJIJIJ What are other M2 guys running there's atIJIJIJIJ

Ran M-2,and 3's for 25 years doing corn,beans and oats.Raised the feeder beater as high as it would go,always fed well.
