You may have a bad brush mobule which is the gizmo that screws into the end of the primary countershaft with wires to it. Check to see if you have power to it first of course.

check the wires on the electromagnetic clutch the u may fine the clutch is just sticking give the belt a pull sometimes u fine this will get it started good luck

Check the wire to the clutch for rodent damage. Those hungy little chew monsters eat everything.

Thanks... I am definitely thinking that it may be a rodent problem. We never had a problem last year with it until now after it has been in the shed for 5 months. It may be time for a couple cats ehIJ I will be sure to check for power down to the clutch and figure it out from there.
