In my New Holland book it says 2 grains of corn per sq. foot is 1 bu. per ac. Anything less than 3% is OK. I have about 1-1 1_2 bpa loss(about 1%) on my TR-98 in 150 - 175 bpa corn. Most is from the head loss. Hope this helps!
