Are you combining wheatIJ Are you using the header height control but not the field trackerIJ I'm no expert but here goes.... if you hook up the header wiring harness when you put on the platform you are telling the combine that you want to use the header control and the field tracker, I believe that is the reason your field tracker is tilting when you let the head down. Is that what you wantIJ If not, then unhook the wiring harness.

We had the same problem in our 2388 it was the switch the Pro Harvest guys changed it and that solved the problem. Hope this helps

My field tracker only works with the machine turned on. I have a little sign on my window that reminds me of that feature so I won't have to scratch my head each fall as to why the tracker won't work when I change heads. Age will do that to a "feller".

YEA, I know what you mean there, he-he. The other day 3 year old grandson got in the cab and pushed and turned every switch on the console. That took me a few to figure out.

Thanks, that's what I think is going on, just need some confirmation before I tear apart the nintendo stick. The switch is $65, so like to be sure first. Thanks again. Ted CenOH

Yes, I was combineing wheat. I use the header height control in manual mode, but NOT automatic because the head is looked up position for wheat. The field tracker is also in manual mode. And the electrical plug on header is never plugged in for wheat. Thanks for your input! Ted CenOH

Just read your original post, it was a long night last night, and somehow I didn't read your last line telling us what I asked you, sorry about that. Does your field tracker tilt when you don't have the header on and you lower the feeder downIJ

YES, the feeder house front face tilts right as I lower the feeder, same as with header on the combine (not plugged in). It does simular things in automatic mode, but thats to hard to explain, since it levels out when it gets on the ground. Thanks, Ted CenOH.
