I have no experience with this problem, however, no detection sounds like a bad electrical connection. If you can use an ohm meter on the circuit, check as much as you can. Don't test with an ohm meter on a circuit still connected on one end, the test voltage might cause more damage, unless that's part of the service manual's instruction. Disconnect both ends, short circuit one end, then test the other end. Now wiggle each connector in between. Even though connectors feel secure, they might still be making poor electrical connection. Or worse yet, intermitent connection. Call diferent dealer's service departments, most are helpful. Ever had a shaft monitor give false alarmsIJ Then you know what I mean.
