I sure hope there is an update, ours counts when you go down the road also. I do give them credit for making the changes and it sure is nice to calibrate by 1_10's instead of a whole number jump and changing the face to numbers unstead of those silly bar graphs that you can't read unless you got up out of the seat and looked directly at it. I would still like to see the numbers just a bit bigger so it is easier to make out when driving and i would also like to see a switch or button to turn the unit off when not needed or have an auto shutoff when in road transport. lets keep hoping.

Ours is at the top of the clean grain elevator. You can harvest 20% corn, switch over to beans then go back to that same field of corn that is still 20% and the Fieldstar may read 12% or 30%. You almost have to re calibrate every day and for sure between crops. Something I never did with Ag leader. Also if the moisture falls below your dry reference for corn(15%) the monitor will ad bushels to the field yield. For example your wet yield may be 175 at 12%, but the dry yield will be 182 corrected to 15%. Not a big deal, but still something that should be addresed as if you get into 9% beans the difference can be significant.

YA KNOW AGCO HAD A PUSH OUT THE DOOR PRICES ON COMBINES A YEAR AGO AND MOST OF THEM WERE WITH THE FS IN THEM, I THINK THIS WAS ONE WAY TO GET THE UNITS OUT THE DOOR. MY BROTHER IN lAW BOUGHT ONE OF THESE MACHINES. HE THOUGHT ABOUT BUYING AN ADD ON DGPS BUT DIDN'T WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY. HE SAID IT'S SOMETHING lIKE A $4500 OPTION JUST FOR THE FS WITHOUT THE DGPS. TOlD HIM TO SHUCK THE FS AND GO GET HIS MONEY BACK AND BUY A PF 3000. OUR DEAlER KNOWS OTHER DEAlERS WHO HAVE 4-5 FS UNITS SITTING ON SHElVES, PROBABlY BECAUSE OF NONEFECTIVENESS IN THE DATA ACCURACY DEPARTMENT . TEllS YA HOW RElIABlE THEY ARE. SEND ME AN E-MAIl AND I'll TAlK TO HIM THIS MORNING AND SEE IF HE'S INTERESTED IN YOUR WHOlE SYSTEM FOR THE DGPS. THE WAY I SEE IT HE JUST AS WEll SEE THE INACCURACY ON PAPER THAN JUST AT THE END OF THE FIElD ON THE ElEVATOR TICKETS. meyer@nwiis.com

Mike, What was it that didn't work all year longIJ Before you jump ship, I would reconsider selling out. I would bet that your Fieldstar is in working order now. Kelly

Well i'm glad there are others out there that have the same problems with there Fieldstars, we have been very dissappointed with ours too, it was never ever close to being accurate either and would count bushels in the bin going down the road, if we could get our money back we would do the same thing and return it.

Mike you might send me an e-mail, I'm not a sucker but I have always been happy with the service I have gotten from ACGO. I might take your unit off of your hands at that price. let me know what all you have. Kurt
