Combines first year with an R 52

First off forget evreything you knew about your l2 because they are in no way, (other then they are silver) alike. You wont have to run your cylinder as fast and your limiting factor will probably be your motor rather then your sieve. I remember when we swithed to the rotors they are as different as getting another colored combine. But once you Drive it you would never go back to a conventional.

I switched from a M3 to a R62 last year and let me tell you it takes some getting used to. The rotary works a lot different you just have to learn it, I'm still learning but maybe I'm just slow. The biggest problem I had was running the rotor to fast, that just grinds stuff up and makes the sample dirty. another problem I had was driving to slow, you must keep these machines full for them to work properly. I am still amazed how much more material the rotor will take than the conventional. One thing I do miss is the visual tailing return but I'm getting used to it.
