We just pinch our bottom sieve down pretty tight, maybe two or three settings from the bottom, turn your wind up till you throw a little out, then back it off a few rpm. I assume you have small grain sieves inIJ

Yes, we have small grain sieves, wondering how hard you thrashIJ We were down to 2-3 on the concave otherwise we seem to get a few of the tough balls coming through whole. It seems like the roundup doesn't get everything ripe at the same time.

Got thinking about this today for some reason and am wondering what would have happened if we had installed cover plates on the front concaveIJ With the amount of material going through it shouldn't have hurt separating the crop and might have filled the rotor cage more to get more crop on crop threshing. Started any beans yetIJ We have slowly been going at white beans and tried a couple fields of soys but there are too many green beans in them yet. Moisture on the soys is 10-11%. Could use a rain to add back moisture and even everything up. Kevin
