JD flexheads are not better!!!! That statement is hogwash!!!!!NH flexheads are superior to any other and hear is why!1. full length auger fingers for even feeding2. terrian tracer (lateral float) of feeder house3. wobble box sickle driver on both ends-a big plus.4.direct drive reel5. plastic crop dividers6. larger auger w_taller flighting7. hyd. independent feederhose reverser. the best of any brand.8. electronic stone ejection system.I had a 930 JD flexhead on my TR-96 back in '92. I would never consider this again. The automatic header control alone is big enough reason. You would have to put all of the sensors from a NH head on the JD head.

One of Ray's old clients lane Jacobson of Esmond just finished a field of edible beans using brush lifters on a JD flex,field looks like it was shaved, ran 1400 lbs.From the looks of it ,more people will try this method.
