Combines Fredrick OK

I talked to guy from Frederick yesterday. He said some early wheat is just headed out. It is starting to turn blue from lack of rain. The later wheat is still doing ok, but it could use a good rain also to make a good crop. He said in general the wheat West of town in the sand does not look as good as the wheat East of town in th heavier soil. Also they have had a little more rain East of town. K.A.

The whaet in the CA centrel vally is looking good. Some fields area already starting to dry. I guess we don't ahve a water problem here. Only about half of the growers are actrually irraginting the fields.....This year looksa like it will be a good year.
