Moving the drum can make a huge difference in feeding. It is kind of a pain to do but is better than poor feeding. We harvest only corn and soybeans so I can't help you with wheat. We used to move it back and forth for them until we found out (on this site) Gleaner offers a hump kit for the corn heads to raise the floor to allow for good feeding with the drum set in the center. Now we never have to move. Good luck
