Combines Fuel consumption on 8780xp

My 8780 was close to my 8780xp in fuel use but my 8780 was turned up. I would say 9 gal. is about where I am at.Have you had any trouble with your fan belt on the engineIJ It seems to be under too much load and has to be replaced.We always run in hot weather and with the AC on its a load for that belt.Massey sent me a kit they are trying,it puts more wrap around the drive. It is better but I think they need A bigger belt. good luck

No, I haven't had fan belt problems, but have had problems with my main threshing drive belt. Have gone through two of these puppies in 400 threshing hours. Also had A_C problems and a bearing out on the chopper and machine has 650_400 hours on it.

Check the bracket that holds the idler pulley mine came loose and almost lost a belt.It moves the belt over and off the pulley. My AC compressor case cracked under warrenty.
