The washer at the tip will not leak fuel above, the inj comes apart in the middle, but this is a high pressure area and will not 'seep' for long. It would pour. The only place to seep is the return line as it is little or no pressure. Check for cracks at the joints around the banjo fitting.

I agree that it could be a return line seep or even a high pressure line leak............but the most common cause is a leak at the injector body. These surfaces are a lap fit and seal metal to metal. the most common cause I see is the injectors not being repair as they should. In order to repair this the injector needs to be disassembled and lapped by some one that knows what they are doing. Most shops do not do this right! I dont know how many hours are on your engine but I might add that the Deutz engine tend to be hard on injectors......it may be time for all 6 to be removed and rebuilt. I give the tips a gravity test.........I toss them up and if they hit the shop floor I replace them. One thing that will help prolong life of injection sytem on these engine is a better filter. The Cummins FS1000.........or what Agco uses on electrnic injected engines.......will spin on the same filter base as the original fuel_water seperator.
