Combines Funniest Harvest Pranks

Well I don't have a harvesting prank, but I do have a planting prank. As I was planting one year my neighbor was also planting across the road from me. I had the perfect view as a spray pilot flew up from behind the other guy with his smoke on. Now this pilot was always known to be a little crazy and I bet he didn't miss the tractor cab by 10 feet. like I had said he had his smoke on and just completly covered that tractor in smoke. My neighbor thought that he had blown that tractor engine to bits and the world was coming to an end. I had to stop my tractor because I was laughing so hard I couldn't see straight to drive straight. Kurt

I had about the same sort of thing done to me once. The local crop duster that we used was coming home from spraying somewhere while I was combining one day. He came up from behind me and probably was 20 feet from the combine as he went by. He had the smoke on and was dropping his toilet paper marker streamers. All I caught was a brief glimpse of his beat up white helmet and a hand waving by the time I realized what was happening. He made a tight circle around me and headed on his way. Another time, I had picked him up as he was walking down a dirt road after he had lost the throttle linkage on his airplane and made an emergency landing in a pasture. I took him home and went back to the farm. About an hour and a half later, he came flying over rocking his wings and dumping smoke. I have many stories about that guy. I think he should have died a few times before he quit spraying. I think he realized that he had brushed death too many times. Believe me, he had used every wire cutter strip on that airplane on power lines. They lined the front of the windshield, the struts, and the tail. But was he fun to watch.

We had a guy like that around here many years ago. One story my dad tells about him was he was spraying some oats for a fella, and his neighbor thought he was drifting on his alfalfa. So he went out to where this guy was spraying and started waving his fist and cussing him out. This went on for a while and the pilot finally got tired of it, landed the plane on the road and beat the tar out of this farmer, who by the way is well known for starting trouble and thinking everything is his. He walked back to his plane and continued spraying. This farmer still wasn't done, so he landed again and finished him off, and then the field. But I believe there are many more stories about this guy.
