The G which I bought this fall has been a gem. For 3 weeks the little machine cut with a R62 and allowed us to finish beans before the great monsoon started in mid November. I figure the G cut 200+ acres of beans this fall. I sat in it 11 hours one day, after fighting the header lift handle that long I converted it to an electrohydrolic header control. Got to enjoy the simple things in life.

We still run a '71 Diesel G every year in wheat harvest. It's one of the most reliable machines I've ever had the pleasure to run.

How exactly did you convert it to elevtro_HydrulicIJ

I used the header lift valve used on the lM series. The hydrolic lines take some time to explain, but a picture will help. May be after christmas before I get dig cam and some help from TBran posting the setup. Was able to wireup in one evening and plumb the next morning.

If you get a chance, I would love to see some pics and get a description of how you converted to electric over hydraulic.

We had a C2 years ago with a 24 foot front. She was steady in barley with those HUGE 6 foot long walkers
