Dibber, My neighbor and I spent a couple of hours with the combines at this years Farm Progress show. We looked at the 12 row folding Geringhoff head for quite a while. First, it was impressive how it folded. Second, we noticed more loss than the other 9750STS. Upon closer inspection, it was the head. The loss was outside the combine body. The conclusion we came to, is that the aggressivenes of the Corn head to chop the stalk causes severe butt shelling.
