Combines getting ready for corn harvest

Oh yes. Just extend flighting to extend a common line between the left and right flighting. The same thing holds true for the old 4" flighting rigid or flex heads when the crop sits in front of fingers and won't feed in . Don't know why flighting can be just a little short from allowing things to work very well. I hope you have hopper bottom filler for that is a must also. No good reason for Hugger to give you these troubles.

Dan, what is a hopper bottom fillerIJ Never heard of anything like that. I am getting a 12-22 for fall, and would not be happy if i need to weld on it right away to be happy with it!(Auger flighting) I am getting the hood over the feed in area, and the fore_aft tilt kit if that could help. Any insight would be appreciated. Prethanks.

The filler is a simple sheet of iron on floor between corn head auger and feeder chain. It just flatens the area so material doesn't build between auger and feeder chain. The bolt holes are already in heads that arn't to old. I think it is great to get the hood but I believe you want to be sure flighting intersects a center line also. Can't beat go feed with no build up anywhere.
