Combines Gilcrest

I got a Gilcrest on a 7720. I never had any other but i really dont care for the axle. The part where you have to lock the hubs in and unlock them down the road is really annoying. lately the valve bank in the back has been blowing O Rings. Other then that i guess its better then getting stuck. -Chad-

Got a gilcrest on my gleaner now for 12 or13 seasons and no trouble with it. has worked fine in some really muddy years, a hub seal has started leaking this year, but no problem really. a long term deere mechanic told me it was better because it had a flow divider that kept both wheels turning where as a deere would send all the oil to the spinning wheel, this applies to the 20 series i dont know about the 9000 series

forgot to say it is an a option to get the auto-engaging hubs that do not require you to manually engage or disengage the hubs

JMG Equip. Co. 816-732-5543 Someone there is still good at what it takes to switch R70 pusher to a R62. It was more than we were banking on but we got it done. Switch cylinders and anchors to back side, weld new spuds to spindles, and switch center pivot tube. Not being very familiar with RWAs we went into it a little blind. Most of the hydralic components look just like the factory components of that time. Good luck
