I run a '98 C62...from what I've heard they haven't been produced since 2001. Can anyone confirm that IJ

The C62 is still on the Gleaner website, I would guess up to 2004 they made them, the website isn't kept up as well as I think it should, but it isn't 3 years behind either.

I think on the MF site someone said they thought they haven't made them since about 02 or so. I don't see any with the new cab. This makes me think they aren't being made. There may be some new ones on dealers lots yet. That could explain why a model may be listed when it isn't in production. I wonder if they would ever consider selling Euro or South American combines here. Parts wouldn't have commonality with Gleaner.

They haven't made either since 02. They shut production down as too many new ones were starting to pile up due to slow sales. They were going to start production again once the old stock were finished, but now they have the new cab and they are reluctant to fab the conventional with it if it isn't going to sell. Our dealer has been begging Agco to start production again as he has sold several of them and lots of his customers want to replace the 97's and 98's. However, it appears that Agco wants to push the 9790 as a rotor you can bale behind thus leading to the extinction of the Agco conventional yet again.
