The f machine will have more parts new or used available if needed. I would go with the f. the capacity of the f is much greater as well. You may be able to find a early f-2 at a low price.
Why an EIJ Did you have one beforeIJ I would go to a K or K2 for what you had to do. They are similiar to an E in a lot of ways, but newer with more capacity. There are some around nicely priced to do what you want. I would not want to buy a unit that needs much repair.. You will have more in repair parts quickly than you paid for the original machine. My thoughts for what its worth.
Actually, yes. We had 2 of them many years ago and they were the easiest-to-repair, most reliable combine I've ever seen. For no more than I farm anymore, an E is all the capacity I need. After 2 Masseys, an International, and an Oliver, I'm ready to get back to a Gleaner and really want an E. Thanks for your response.
