Things like making sure header auger is set to feed properly, feederbeater is timed and slipclutch is tentioned to the max, wide spaced cyl. bars, proper channel_half round placement, 25tooth spkt on rh cyl drive to sep. beater, tie up curtain over raddle for all 'cept wheat, and engine rpm set to max high idle with gov set to max sensitivity for starters. Might want to swap change gears behind park brake to get a nice field speed range in 2nd gear although it will slow your road gear speed down to the green and red guys, if you can live with that...
