remove nut from input shaft, remove outer hub - may require a tad of heat and a puller, remove sheave, belt and inner sheave and spring, taking note that the spring canister is intact and in good shape - remove bottom screen if equipped, remove inspection cover for pressure plate, remove bolts from flywheel (6) that secure pressure plate, remove outer ring of bolts in input shaft hsg , support the hsg as it will now fall almost straight down. In experience, you probably will need a shaft- 71131341 brgs 71118304, 834988m1, 71121058 release brg, and 71116581 canister brg. 70923664 oring and 70926620 backup for sliding inner hub. When you get the hsg off, put the nut back on to protect threads, have some strong arm person pick the unit up and slam the nut down onto a hard board. The cast hsg will slip off the brgs if you are lucky. Remove snap rings and remove brgs and replace. Always loctite - green brg mtd - brgs to shaft.
