Combines Gleaner F with Perkins engine

Thanks for the replys I know that is a good recipe adding perkins engines to a fine combine. The orange A-C deisels when in the feild look like a Big Boy locomotive pulling hard up the New Mexico rockies!!!!!!

Bluestem, Where are you locatedIJ We have a F that we do not use anymore. It has a bad engine, and needs a new home.

Wait just a minute here. I have an F with the 301 CID diesel. It simply does not push smoke. Now the K2 I have with the 433T will look like a freight locomotive when it is working. But the F no way.

You must have road the the train at Chama NM. recentlyIJ I thought the same thing last spring while ridding the old steam engine..

Yes I do agree the Allis Chalmers 6 cylinder gas and deisel combine engines used from the late 50's through 60's were great engines.
