A1. You will have to remove the raddle drive shaft to replace raddle chain drive sprockets. You won't need to remove the raddle chain, just loosen it via the raddle iders down in the front. Romove outer chains, sprockets, bearings on the drive shaft, then punch out the roll pins on each of the 2 drive sprokets on the inside. Shaft will then slide out. Remember to get your new drive sprockets on the shaft in correct timing before attaching the chain!!!!!!! A2. The diesel engine and gas engines have entirely different mounting frames and front pto shafts that run the hydraulic pump. Change all or nothing! A3. Cylinders will change out the same. A4. Shoe hangers will change out the same, also. My comment: If the K2 is diesel, why not just fix it upIJ It has heavier front axles than the K and the Cabs are a little nicer with the curved front windshield. On your chopper, just swing the knives in the outer position. The chopper will not be cutting as much, but will do a good job of spreading. Make sure the chopper blades have a good leading edge, otherwise straw doesn't feed as good. Good luck! Eric

Thanks for the reply. Th reason for not fixing upthe K2 is that all the augur troughs are rusted off, the grain tank has a large hole in it. And it has never seen a shed I dont think. All the cab on the inside is a mess. My thought on the engine is to remove the main drive belt coming from the rear of the engine, and the unloader drive belt and the fuel linesand wires on both machines and unbolt the engine complete and set it on the K as a whole unit. the clean or swap fuel tanks hook up every thing and take off......... But it might not be that simple. Never is. thankx for replying ! Was wondering about switching cabs too. Why not IJ

i have a k, isn't the engine sitting in a kind of framework, you just unbolt the frame work and everything comes off in one pieceIJ
