Combines Gleaner l M Flexheads

Think about it a little. If AGCO were to make new lM flex heads they would cost as much as the ones for the current R series. Materials and labor cost more today than when the lM heads were made. A new head would probably cost as much as you paid for the combine. Good idea but for the manufacturer it is just not practical as far as the numbers go.

Where are youIJ If you check with some salvage yards like Spallinger's, often they will get a combine that has had a fire or other catastrophic failure, and it comes in with a head that may not be damaged at all. There are used jockeys in Pennsylvania that have them, too.

Check out DTN Iron web site. If you are near Berne, IN. Affolders has a 320 head for $5950. Best bet is to buy a header then look for a combine. The 300 series heads are used on the old lM's, lM2's and the lM3's thats why they are hard to come by.
