Walt, Try checking the color of the wire that runs to the fuse panel it should be red on one side red_white on the other. I'm sure that even though the wire runs into a harness that it still runs to the fuse panel, unless someone has bypassed it. I would start by getting a voltmeter or an indicator light whatever you have access to, and go through it step by step. Check both sides of the fuse panel with the fuse in, sometimes fuses are blown and you can't tell. Check the fuse holder not the fuse itself, I've seen good fuses with no juice on the holder because of a little dirt or corrosion. Then trace it all the way up. Taking out the paneling or what ever you need to do to follow the wire to make sure it doesn't have any breaks in it. Then last but not least check the ground wires. I would even try to bypass the switch if all else fails. I'm sure you will find it you just have to be persistant. As far as your alternaters I would look at your batterys if your cables run positive to positive, negative to negative you have a parallel 12v system. the alternaters put out 12v regardless they run in parallel. I'm going by what it is suppost to be I can't be sure without looking at it if someone has rewired it. Curt
