Dan, I'm either going to roof that building or get a newer picture. The antenna is for our FM 2-way radios. Didn't want to take the trouble to permanent mount an aerial and the mag-mounts don't stick to the cab roofs at all. Good handy place for it back there. Ed in Montana

Brian, The chopper is all that I hoped for and more. We added the chopper, put new thresher bars in, removed the reversers and replaced them with the most worn of the thresher bars, and added the 3rd helical extension. Machine seems to use less power than before. We're still just running the chopper with the concave knives fully retracted and it works great. link is to a pic of the chopper in action this evening. Wheat is making somewhere around 70 and as you can see, it's not leaving much straw on top of the stubble. Ed in Montana

Sounds like some great yields Ed. What variety of wheat do you plant. Wondering if you are using some of the same varieties as us in north central ND.

Wheat is a Montana developed public variety: McNeal. All we've cut so far hasn't been as good as the stuff in the picture. We're seeing yields from 40 and upwards, which is still decent for here. Ed in Montana

Still very minimal losses. About the most that I can find in some areas is 5 or 6 kernels _ sq. ft. Some areas have none. That is more than acceptable to me. Seems that we are losing less this year than last, but conditions are different this year and we did replace acc. roll lugs too. Ed in Montana
