Combines GlEANER PRODUCTION NAME CHANGE

I don't think that Gleaner is going to disappear. I would say there is more of a chance of Deere going broke or being bought out than the Gleaner combine and name disappearing. Agco has more parts available for older machines than anybody else. The Massey and the Gleaner each has their own advantages and strengths. Gleaner really shines if your land is less than level as sidehill losses with the Gleaner design are nill which is unusual compared to the rest of the industry. The idea of letting Cat market the Massey painted Yellow is just marketing games. Currently, only one out of 4 combines being built at Hesston are Masseys. Kelly

Every third combine was a Massey when I toured the plant a month ago.
