Sure is in Kansas, but Gleaner hasn't and won't flood the market with junk like JD.

I'm seeing the 2 series rotories holding their value at least as good and in most instances having better value than the competition. I've noticed this taking place in the last 3-5 years. I think the longevity of the machine is the main factor. And, as farmers look at the others and do some camparing, I think they like what they see in the Gleaners.

Couldnt give one away here in southern alberta we had the C-62 and took a beating on it but couldnt afford the down time or repair costs. In our area there is no newer gleaners that I can think of the massey rotor is gaining some ground.

Diaryfarmer, I was at that sale also. I thought that combine was really rough. I thought for the condition it was plenty high. The corn head was a good buy if you needed one it brought 7500. The platform went for 2000 but it was a 318. What did the tractors bringIJ I left as soon as the coombine sold. later, IG

No, I didn't buy it but I know the guy who did. It looks like a nice machine. We run a l3 and a R60. Did you get another machine or are you just running your R72IJ I read sometime back that you had hyped it.

You must live on the Hiway north of louisville.I saw a shed that had a l3 and a R60 in it north on 45 the other day. I am looking for another combine.I bought that 62 new in the fall of 94 it only has 950 sep hours on it and brand new duals on the front, only used them on about 200 acres. Where does the guy that bought it live from youIJI went to Farina today across the Iola blacktop from 45. I did a few things to the 72 this summer and it helped alot plan on doing some more. later, IG
