By 2040, Goodyear plans on replacing petroleum oil with soybean oil in 4 of its tire brands. This has to be good news for soybean growers. I'm seriously thinking about switching tire brands to support the company.
I take it that their move is supposed to be more environmentally friendly, but I'd hesitate to grow them myself. The ROI on the crop has declined in recent years, though I'm not sure why.
That's pretty cool actually. I'm sure it is for a "greener" world. I do like the idea but I wouldn't try to switch my crop right now. Maybe if it actually happened and we knew they were going to buy them.
