Up to 16 Gorden Threshing and 14 Gorden Separator bars fit on the 2388 AFX rotor.

Yes, they are worth the money. I used them in a 1680 for about 10,000 acres in wheat and corn. They help in hard to thrash crops so you don't have much return and rotor loss. I traded the combine before they wore out.

JWK, The corn cracking was the exact reason I was thinking of investing in the Gordens. My old 1440 with the standard rotor cracked AlOT less than my 2366 with specialty rotor. What do you think SmileyIJIJIJ

I don't know for sure about the cracking. I bought the gordon bars mainly for wheat. I traded the 1680 for 2388 which had a standard rotor. In corn I think the cracking problem can be solved by slowing the rotor speed - I run 325 to 350 rpm from the beginning of harvest to the end.

I have a 2366 with 9 bars on my rotor.I found that I had straw as good as a deere but lot better to work with.They are well worth the money.

Have 9 Gordon Rotor Bars in the front of the rotor and the back half is spiked rasp. Works awesome! Never tried it in corn but for soys, dry beans, wheat, etc. they work great, they are well worth the money. We have many updates on our 1660 and it has been well tuned to all of the crops that we raise. We do have cover plates for the front 1 1_2 concaves when necessary. So to answer your question, yes they thresh better, gentler, and run smoother, last longer, and we haven't had any problems with them whatsoever *knock on wood* and even though expensive, over time they well pay for themselves.
