The pipe on right side of combine should roll down after u loosen it Then just unbolt the 4 bolts per concave on left side and let the 3 drop down to augers slide them out when reinstalling them i use a 2x4 30" long or so to left them up and a punch in centre hole to line and hold the concaves till i get a bolt in I can pull and replace concaves in about 45 minutes another 20 for grates after u change concaves u should raise them up while rotor is in neutral and turn the rotor with a long screw driver or something thru the grates keep raising concaves till u hear them hit the rotor and back off couple turns and set the stop bolts (you have just zero out your concaves) reset the pointer to zero Now when someone says set concaves to 1-2 you will be very close to that setting

Concave pipe loosens up and off the concave tabs, then turns over 90 degrees. No issues with it in the way then. Zero the concave, put the concaves just a fraction below the rotor. Set the stopbolts, adjust the manual pointer to zero, then rezero the cab display. Go through the process of leveling the rotor now too. Pipe with the handle is there for easy sieve adjustment, no need to hurt your hands anymore.

We got the pipe that the eye bolts loosens to come off alright, its just the pipe that the hooks on the end of the concaves sets on is to high. When we took the concaves out, they hit the cover around the top of the rotor and thats what kept them from coming out. thats why we had to hit the concaves with the hammer to get them out and the other back in. What do you mean when u say set the stop bolts, and also when we try to move the concaves from inside the cab, they don't move. We can hear it working, just nothing moving. Was wondering what would be the problem. Adjusting the manual one works with a 3_4 wrench. What could be broke in there to keep it from workin from insideIJ The gear i guess that turns it is loose when we turn it manually. thanks for the help justin
