Was there a DG by that arrowIJ If not you're not receiving GPS data whether the arrow is lit or not.

No there is not. I don't recall ever seeing anything but "--". No problem last year. Two years ago we could not get an arrow - wrong cable connecting the beacon to the monitor. Once the arrow appeared it worked fine. Are you suggesting the beacon is faultyIJ

I run the same system in a 2188. It was factory installed. It has a DG with the arrow when it's logging. In your setup menu, are you set to log to a 1M card. Check that. My setting all went screwy today out of the blue. Had to reset Box cal. If you're set to log and you don't have a DG, I'd suspect there is something wrong with the satellite receiver system. If you have the Trimble they can go screwy too. let us know what you find.

Took the beacon off and checked ti with my computer. worked fine. checked all the setup stuff - seemed okay. Reattached the beaon --- works fine now! Must have bee some bad connection at the beacon. Your comment about the DG brought us back on track. The older generation here forgets how to run this modern gadgetry from one season to the next. Frustrating being that older generation!! Thanks Ed
