Combines grain diverter for 8570

I always refer to Ray Stueckle's book "Setting your Rotary Combines for better harvesting", still avialable, when I have a combine problem. I would suggest you read my posting of April 14_2005, "Ray Stueckle - Rotary Combine Book" in which I give a brief summary of his recommendations for many of the problem areas.

I have the problem of overloading on the left side also. Could you explain your diverter, where it is attached, how big is it etc, thanks.

looking: the diverter is 15" wide, with 1" sides by 16" long(used light gauge metal) there are 2, 4" bolts welded to the one end. these bolts go through the holes that are between the concaves(where they bolt to the round adjustment shaft) Clear as mudIJ If you email me I'll send pictures that will be worth more than a thousand of my words. nlegaarden@sasktel.net good luck ..Neil
