Combines grain leaking out

Hmmm , there are no soft seals, but there are two adjustable seals on either side of the trap door. There is also a panel under the stone door in front of the distribution auger that can bow out and leak . Silicone in this area will resolve any leakage.

I think we may have the same problem. We noticed ours at the end of harvest only when unloading. Same area as you describe. We are guessing it's time for a new grain tank floor.

Hey brassring, would this area be on the underside and top of the feeder house, where the front beam (axle) runs across the machineIJ I have noticed loss in this area, and have tried to figure out where it is coming from, in that area. thanks,

I would suspect rubber seal that seals against galvinized plate as feeder is raised and lowered is falling out. This can be from carriage bolts that hold this seal in have wore threw. Also you will want to inspect bottom of floor completely. I'm suspecting you are wearing threw in humped area and or very tail end of front feed. Good luck

well it's not loosing grain inside the access area, it's on the out side, dropping down in front of the axle, close to where the swing plate is that keeps the trash out of the fan area I think another poster is close, it's above the axle somewhere didn't get a good look at the area I was done and cleaning and noticed corn after I shut it down, will try to get a better look later, the machine only has 800 hrs on it so I don't think it's worn trough yet. Thanks Bob

Keep us posted when you figure this out because I think I have the same problem with my R42. I'll check mine out a little closer but right now I'm still running corn. Got a couple of days left.
