Combines Grain pan fingers

The fingers are there to get the air underneath some of the larger material. I would think that removing them would actually load up the sieve even more and have a reverse effect. I can picture the odd chunk of corn cob getting into the fan the odd time without them(ouch)

There is also a short 4" plate that you can install to drop the grain farther back onto the top sieve. This is bolted onto the back of the shacker pan behind your auger bed. Jack

your point is ill advised because the mog is being dumped too close to the front of the sieve. without the plate a lot of grain if front of sieve too closed will end up in fan. my 02 worth.
