Don't mean to bust your bubble...but I would suggest to try the AirJet Chaffer that Mr.Gorden sells. I have used it in soybeans and corn...these are 2 of the heavier crops per bushel and I know wheat is also a heavy crop. The Airjet will get you a clean sample without any large amount of return. What you have to remember that the thrashing has to be completed first before you seperate the grain. My question is why would you want to use a hole type sieve. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks. I have a yellow combine and I had contact with Marvin Gordon about an Air jet chaffer for a TR99 which is not yet available at this time. I was going to try the Peterson Airfoil chaffer and the slotted or round hole sieve in the bottom for this year. I used to have a Gleaner combine and I tried a slotted Canola Sieve and it worked great. The only problem I had was the slots were to small when the wheat was above 15% moisture. In Europe the trend is back to hole type sieves to get more capacity. Peter
