Previous owner of R-72 had put on 500 sep. hours-all soybeans. I do not know how many bushels he did with it. I do know he ran a fair amount of dirt in machine. It now has about 1800 sep. hours. We've put just over 1.1 million bushels of corn and 250,000 bushels of soybeans through it since we bought it. R-60 has no sep. tach. Previous owner had about 800 engine hours on it in corn and soybeans. We have just over 3,000 now. Our corn total is about 1 million and soybeans 220,000 on this machine. Both bottoms are pretty worn and need some attention before next harvest. Neither have leaked yet but if it wouldnt be for the framework on the unload auger side grain would be pouring out. I see a company by the name of poly tech has inserts for the bottom of gain tanks for Case-IH machines. Sounds very easy to install and like a real solution. Im going to give them a call to find out if they make any for Gleaner. I like the sound of vstk's fix but had heard these poly inserts we really easy to install and I'm feeling kinda lazy.
