THIS PAST HARVEST, WE RAN A 1293 JD CORNHEAD ON A 2388. WE USED A BISCH ADAPTOR TO HOOK IT UP. THE CORNHEAD WORKED WEll ON THE MACHINE. JD HAS A VERY NICE RUNNING HEAD.YOU WIll BE VERY PlEASED.

I have run JD heads on red combines since 94 and am very happy with the way everything works. I think Deere has the best corn head out their right now. I also use the Bish head changer.

I run a 643 on a 1660 , use the Bish Adapter , use a 28t or 30t drive sprocket , depending on conditions , and 30t driven works good been doing it for 6 yrs . There are three 643's on CIH's right around here .

I've got a 8 row JD header on my 1666 and it works really well. It's quite a bit lighter than any other brands. I also bought a kit from Van Werde Combine Parts to adapt the JD header drive to hookup to the Case IH combine.
