I think they were green stripes from 85-87. Don't know if thats right but have never seen a non green stripe 85 model.

They became green stripes after the merger, 1985. There seems to have been a transition period where they went to Deutz Allis Decals over the Allis Chalmers ones, with the wheels still painted orange, after that they started going to Silver Wheels and different cab paint color (I think it had a blue tint to it. My friend has an F3 that says Deutz-Allis on it but still has orange wheels. I just do not care for that Deutz logo on a Gleaner but at least they survived that 5 years.....

I believe the production models of 1986 and 1987 were the green stripes for the 3 series.
